Poznámky k výskytu Hypnum imponens Hedw. v České republice

Two specimens of Hypnum imponens were found in the Podpěra’s herbarium in the National Museum in Prague. This species, previously reported as doubtful in the Czech Republic, was collected by F. Beneš in a wood near Borovany (České Budějovice district, South Bohemia) in 1908. The species has recently been searched for at its historical locality without success.
