Bryum gemmiferum, nový druh bryoflóry České republiky

Bryum gemmiferum R. Wilczek et Demaret is reported here for the first time from the Czech Republic. The species was found at two human-affected localities on damp soil banks of fishponds. The specimens are morphologically described and illustrated and the ecological conditions at one of the sites are described in detail and discussed.
