Bramble flora of the north-eastern Moravia (Czech Republic) was studied. The total of 44 species was recorded (including one hybrid) and the knowledge of distribution of species in studied area was considerably improved.
Several species are mentioned for the first time from the area of NE Moravia (e.g. Rubus austromoravicus, R. capricollensis, R. nessensis subsp. scissoides, R. phyllostachys and R. perrobustus) as well as the first escape of the cultivated species R. cockburnianus in the Czech Republic.
Brief notes on the character of distribution of all 44 species in the region, a list of known localities and dot maps are presented in this paper.
