Altogether 174 taxa of bryophytes (30 liverworts and 144 mosses) were recorded during excursions in the northeastern part of Plasy Highland, West Bohemia. The most interesting records included the find of Scapania lingulata (Endangered), as well as two Didymodon species in the Vulnerable category, D. cordatus and D. glaucus. Tortula schimperi was recorded for the third time in recent decades. The liverworts Isopaches bicrenatus and Frullania tamarisci are also not recorded commonly in Central and West Bohemia. All threatened and regionally important taxa are commented in detail.
