207 taxa of lichen-forming fungi and a few lichenicolous/non-lichenized fungi were found in a small protected area (55 ha) in South Bohemia. The high number of recorded lichens is caused by a great diversity of suitable substrata (e.g. alternating of calcareous and siliceous rocks). Some rare and/or overlooked taxa, including Arthonia dispersa, Arthopyrenia cerasi, Arthothelium ruanum, Catillaria nigroclavata, Polyblastia agraria, Rinodina zwackhiana, Scoliciosporum schadeanum and Verrucaria latebrosa have been found. Three species – Arthopyrenia salicis, Bacidia adastra and Lecania sylvestris are new to the Czech Republic.
