The new plant associations and species in the confluence of the Morava and Dyje Rivers

Territory of the confluence of the Dyje and Morava Rivers was investigated in 2002. Two association were found for the first time, i.e. Fraxino-Populetum and Carici fritschii-Quercetum roboris.

Stratiotes abides, an extinct species in the area, was reintroduced in 1997. The surveyed reintroduced population seems to be well established.
