The Czech Botanical Society, founded in 1912, is a non-governmental and non-profit organization, which brings together professional and amateur botanists and other people interested in this field. It supports science, education, public awareness and the protection and restoration of nature. It organizes lectures, conferences, excursions, floristic courses and publishes literature.
