Old specimens of the genus Parmotrema (Parmeliaceae) from the territory of the Czech Republic stored in the National Museum in Prague (PRM) were revised. They were collected mainly by J. Suza, and further by A. Hilitzer, A. Oborny, R. Picbauer, and V. Spitzner from the end of the 19th century to 1924. P. arnoldii (1 specimen), P. crinitum (3 specimens), P. perlatum (10 specimens) and P. stuppeum (1 specimen) were found in the herbarium. P. arnoldii is reported here as new to the Czech Republic. An identification key to the Czech species of the genus Parmotrema is included.
