Abstrakt
Interesting findings of lichens from the Poľana Mts (central Slovakia) collected during excursion of Botany Department, Charles University, Prague in September 1996, are presented. 31 species (marked *) are new for the region; one of them (Chaenotheca chlorella) was previously considered as extinct in Slovakia. 6 species are endangered and 4 species are vulnerable in Slovakia.
