Bryophytes growing under artificial lighting were studied in three selected show caves (Kateřinská jeskyně, Punkevní jeskyně, Výpustek) in the Moravian Karst (Czech Republic) in 2012, 2013 and 2022. Altogether 39 mosses were recorded. The highest number of recorded taxa (20 and 17) was recorded in the Punkevní jeskyně caves in 2012 and 2022, respectively, 14 and 6 taxa were recorded in the Kateřinská jeskyně cave in 2012 and 2022, respectively, and 12 mosses were recorded in the Výpustek cave in 2022, while no bryophytes were found in 2013. Frequent taxa in the caves were Cratoneuron filicinum, Eucladium verticillatum, Leptobryum pyriforme and Rhynchostegium murale. The bryoflora also included two red-listed species, Platydictya jungermannioides (CR) and Didymodon sinuosus (VU), and two Least Concern species requiring attention (LC-att), Oxystegus tenuirostris and Plasteurhynchium striatulum. Sporophytes were recorded in only one sample of Seligeria donniana.
